Anritsu Corp. provides communications test and measurement solutions for existing and next-generation wired and wireless communication systems and operators. The firm’s products include wireless, optical, microwave/RF, and digital instruments as well as operations-support systems for R&D, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance. Anritsu also provides precision microwave/RF components, optical devices, and high-speed electrical devices for communication products and systems.

Anritsu Corp. mainly manufactures measurement equipment. It has three business segments.

• The Measurement Equipment segment manufactures measurement equipment for digital communications and Internet Protocol (IP) networks, optical communications and mobile communications, general-purpose measurement equipment for RF radio frequency, microwave bands and millimeter wavebands, and offers service assurance.
• The Industrial Machinery segment provides automated weight sorters, automated electronic measurement equipment, foreign substance detectors and exact dimension measurement equipment.
• The other segment is engaged in the provision of information communication, related devices, logistics and welfare services, the leasing of real estate, the manufacture of components, as well as the human resources (HR)and accounting related clerical business.
