Specializing in sockets, connectors (board to board), cable assemblies (flat flex cables), terminal blocks, RF products, and automotive interconnects, E-tec provides advanced interconnect solutions. They also manufacture special adaptors, sockets, and cable assemblies in the UK with quick turnaround times. E-tec's product range includes test sockets, burn-in sockets, and programming sockets. With factories in Asia and Switzerland, E-tec offers a competitive range of industry standard and customized products for applications in aeronautics, military, medical, communications, automotive, and more.

Founded in 1973 for precision pin production for the watch industry, E-tec expanded into precision pin connectors for electronics in the 1980s. They established operations in Taiwan in 1993 for stamped pin products. In 2001, labor-intensive production was moved to Mainland China.
