N2Power, founded in Southern California in 1999, specializes in designing ultrasmall, highly reliable, and energy-efficient power supply units (PSUs) for the OEM market. 

Acquired by Qualstar Corporation in 2002, N2Power became a wholly owned subsidiary, enhancing Qualstar's tape storage libraries with advanced LTO tape drive technology and ultradense cartridges. This acquisition provided N2Power access to expanded manufacturing capabilities and increased technical support, reinforcing its position in the industry.

Despite ownership changes, N2Power has maintained a strong commitment to sustainability, pioneering PSUs with efficiency ratings exceeding 90% long before regulatory mandates were introduced in 2006. Today, N2Power remains at the forefront of green technology innovation, delivering cutting-edge PSU solutions that meet the stringent demands of OEM applications worldwide.
