Rectron
Established in January 1976 in Tu-Cheng, Taipei, Rectron Limited was founded by a team of experienced semiconductor engineers. From its early days, Rectron quickly gained recognition as a trusted supplier of high-quality discrete semiconductors. By 1981, the company had expanded its reach to the global semiconductor market, leveraging a robust network of exclusive distributors and agents to drive sales growth and establish a strong international presence.
Rectron’s success led to a significant milestone in January 1985, when the company received approval for an initial public offering (IPO) of common stock. This expansion continued with the opening of wholly owned subsidiaries in Los Angeles, USA; London, England; and Hong Kong, solidifying Rectron's global footprint. In 1994, the company further enhanced its competitive edge by commissioning a manufacturing plant in China, increasing its production capacity for discrete semiconductor products.
Today, Rectron is known for its extensive range of reliable, high-performance semiconductor components, which are essential in various applications across industries such as consumer electronics, automotive, and telecommunications. The company’s commitment to quality and innovation ensures that Rectron remains a leader in the global semiconductor market, providing cutting-edge solutions to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
